1959年にアメリカの手下をやめたキューバをボコそうとして失敗した（コチノス湾事件）アメリカは、キューバに色々ちょっかいをかけていました（マングース作戦）。
そのためキューバはソ連にミサイル基地設置を頼み、ソ連はこれにOKを出しますが（アナディル作戦）、アメリカはこれを見つけ、キューバを海上封鎖します。
しばらくして米英のスパイとしてソ連に潜り込んでいたペンコフスキーが処刑されますが、彼が集めた情報がめちゃくちゃ役に立ちました。
国連の仲裁にも関わらず、米ソはアラスカ、カリブ海でおちょくり合います。
10月27日（暗黒の土曜日）、アメリカ軍はキューバ海域で、封鎖を突破したソ連の潜水艦（B-59）に、それが核を載せてると知らずに爆雷を撃ち、仕返しにソ連潜水艦が核魚雷をぶっ放しそうになったけど、アルヒーポフ副艦長が反対し、キューバ海域から立ち去って核戦争（第三次世界大戦）が回避されました。
その後ソ連はキューバからミサイルを撤去し、米ソはホットライン（直通電話）を設置するなどいい感じになっていき、ケネディ大統領が暗殺された（ケネディをウザがったCIAや戦争ビジネス資本家の仕業で、暗殺犯オズワルドは彼らに使い捨てにされただけです）後も続いていきました（米ソデタント）。

US failed to beat up Cuba that quit Minion of US (Bay of Pigs Invasion), so US messed & bullied him (Operation MONGOOSE).
So Cuba requested Set Misille Base to USSR & it was accepted (Operation Anadyr), but US found it & blockaded Cuba.
After a while, Penkovsky that infiltrated to USSR as Spy of US & UK was exected, but the information that he collected was insanely helpful.
Despite UN Arbitration, US & USSR provoked each other in Alaska & Caribbean Sea.
October 27th (Black Saturday), in nearby of Cuba, US Navy fired depth charges against USSR submarine but didn't know it was nuclear-armed so USSR Submarine almost released Nuclear Torpedo as revenge, but Vice Captain Arkhipov opposed it, so USSR Submarine went away from nearby of Cuba & Nuclear War (WWIII) was averted.
After that, USSR removed Missile from Cuba, & US-USSR relationship getting better like set Hotline (Direct Phone Line), & it was continued after President Kennedy was assassinated (It was by CIA & War business financiers that annoyed Kennedy, so Oswald was used & thrown away by them) (US-USSR detante).
