1959年、キューバではアメリカの手下として圧政を敷いていたバティスタが追放され（キューバ革命）、革命政府（カストログループ）がバティスタやアメリカの利権を国有化したため、アメリカにブチギレられます。
これを見たソ連がキューバ革命政府を支援したため、アメリカはバティスタ残党を使ってキューバ革命政府をぶっ潰すと決めました。
アメリカは手下国家のグアテマラでバティスタ残党（2506部隊）を訓練していましたが、ケネディ大統領の「アメリカの関与がバレたらアカン」という指示で、上陸地点がエスカンプライあたり（近くに別のバティスタ残党が潜伏してました）からちょっと西のコチノス湾（バティスタ残党ゼロ、サンゴ礁で上陸しにくい）に変更になり、これが結構命取りになりました。
グアテマラから2506部隊が、ニカラグアから米空軍がキューバ革命政府を滅ぼしに出撃しましたが、米空軍の爆撃が中途半端だったのと、戦力差が絶望的すぎた（2506部隊：1500人、キューバ革命政府軍：20万）のと、アメリカが予想してたキューバでの反乱がなかったということで、2506部隊はボッコボコにされて完敗しました。
バティスタ残党は壊滅し、CIAはケネディをウザがり、これがケネディ暗殺の遠因になります。
一方キューバは、アメリカに勝った国、東側諸国の一員として、アジアやアフリカの旧植民地の独立・人種差別撤廃に大きく貢献する国になるのです。

1959, in Cuba, Batista the oppressor, Minion of US was expelled (Cuban Revolution), & Revolutionary Government (Castro Group) nationalized Concession of Batista & US, so US angered against them.
USSR saw it so supported Cuba Revolutionary Government, so US decided destroy Cuban Revolutionary Government through Remnants of Batista.
US train Remnants of Batista (2506 Unit) in its Minion State Guatemala, but Landing point was changed from Escambray (Other Remnants of Batista was hiding nearby) to a little West from there Bay of Pigs (Zero Remnants of Batista, Hard to land by Corals) by Instruction of President Kennedy that "US involvement must not be exposed", but it was pretty fatal.
2506 Unit from Guatemala & US Air Force from Nicaragua sortieed to destroy Cuban Revolutionary Government, but because of US Air Strikes were incomplete & the difference in strength was too hopeless (2506 Unit: 1500, Cuban Government Army: 200,000), & Rebellion that US expected was nothing, so 2506 Unit were beaten up & completely defeated.
Remnants of Batista was destroyed, so CIA annoyed Kennedy & it became distant cause of Assassination of Kennedy.
On the other hand, Cuba became the Nation that so contributed to Independence of Former Colonies in Asia, Africa, & abolition of Racism as One of Eastern Countries & beat US.
