スーダンでは独立以来、北部（大体ムスリム）と南部（大体クリスチャン）が対立してました（第1次スーダン内戦）が、一度仲直りしてました（アディスアベバ合意）。
しかしヌメイリが、ライバルのリビア（イスラーム社会主義国）にマウントを取るために、テロ組織ムスリム同胞団（シリアとかでクリスチャンを殺しまくってました）とくっついてシャリーア（イスラーム法）を採用し、南部を怒らせ、紛争を誘発しました。
この紛争は南部にいい油田があったのもあり、結構ヤバい感じになりました。
ヌメイリの失政のせいでクーデターが起き、スーダン新政府はSPLA（南部のリーダー）と仲直りし（コカダム宣言）、シャリーア導入をやめて停戦する約束をしました（SPLA/DUP合意）。
しかし1989年、バシールがクーデターを起こしてシャリーア徹底を決め、約束を破りました。
バシールの政治と南部の蜂起があまりにもヤバすぎたため、アメリカ（南部の石油が欲しかった）とケニアが仲介し、南部の自治復活、2011年の独立を決める住民投票を決め（南北包括和平合意）、紛争は終了しました。
この紛争は、アディスアベバ合意のノリで住民投票していれば起こらなかった、ツッコミどころが多めの紛争ですが、クリスチャンが大半を占め、宗教の自由を支持する南部の完全な自由をもたらしました。

In Sudan, Northern (Mainly Muslim) & Southern (Mainly Christian) were conflicted (1st Sudanese Civil War), but reconciled at once (Adis Ababa Agreement).
But Nimeiry adhered with Terrorists Muslim Brotherhood (Killed Christians in Syria & some other nations) & adopted Sharia (Islamic Law) to one-up its Rival Libya (Islamic Socialism Nation) & made Southern angered & triggered Conflict.
This Conflict became crazy cause there are good Oil Fields in Southern.
Coup was occurred by Misrule of Nimeiry & Sudanese New Government reconciled with SPLA (Leader of Southern) (Koka Dam Declaration) & promised withdraw adopt Sharia & ceasefire (SPLA/DUP Agreement).
But al-Bashir carried out Coup on 1989 & decided enforce Sharia & broke Promise.
Rule of al-Bashir & Uprising of Southern were so crazy, so US (Wanted Oils in Southern) & Kenya mediated & decided Restore Autonomy of Southern & Referendum for Independence on 2011 (CPA), so Conflict was end.
This Conflict having many blemish points & it will never be happened if Referendum was done depending by ear Adis Ababa Agreement, but brought Full Liberty of Southern that many Christian living & Supporting Liberty of Religion.
