イランへの侵略（第1次湾岸戦争）で敗北したイラクは、莫大な借金を抱えてましたが、金貸しのクウェート（イランへの侵略を煽りまくってました）は裏でボロ儲けしていたので、イラクはブチギレ、クウェートを侵略し、秒で滅ぼしました。
国際社会の大半は、イラクの侵略を非難しました。
この直前にアメリカとソ連は、44年間にわたる対立（米ソ対立）を終わらせていた（マルタ会談）のもあり、国際社会は一致団結し、ついにはアメリカやサウジなど34カ国（多国籍軍）が、自分の非を認めなかったイラクを攻撃しました（砂漠の嵐作戦）。
イラクはイスラエルのパレスチナ統治（アラブがイスラエルとの共存を否定したのが原因です）を持ち出して自分の侵略を正当化し、イスラエルとサウジアラビアにミサイルをぶち込んで挑発しましたが、完全にスルーされ、多国籍軍に完敗しました。
（なおパレスチナ系テロ組織PLOは、イラクの侵略を賞賛したため、アラブ諸国の大半からシカトされました。）
この戦争で主は、イラクの時の独裁者フセインの侵略癖に対し、かつてない強い警告を与え、悔い改めの時間を与えましたが（主は救い主ですが、さばき主でもあります）、彼はそれを受け入れる代わりに、イスラエルやクルドなどへの敵意を深め、ますます悪に走ったため、後に滅ぼされます（第3次湾岸戦争）。
おまえは自分の流した血で罪に定められ...自分の刑罰の日を近づかせ、自分の刑罰の年を来させた。（エゼキエル22:4）

Iraq brought up Israeli Control of Palestine (Cause is Arab rejected Coexistence with Israel) & justified Invasion, & provoked Israel & Saudi Arabia by hit missiles, but it was ignored & be defeated by Multinational Force.
(Furthermore Palestine Terrorists PLO praised Iraqi Invasion, so most of Arab Nations ignored them.)
Through this War, the LORD gave unprecedented warning against Invasion Habit of Hussein Dictator of Iraq in this time (The LORD is Savior, but he is Judge too) & gave time for repentance, but instead of accept it, he run to Evil more by deepened Hostility against Israel & Kurd & some minorities, so he was destroyed on later (3rd Gulf War).
