中東の大国イランでは、親欧米の皇帝が追放され（イラン革命）、イスラーム教シーア派グループが権力を握りました。
これを自分への脅威と捉えたイラクの問題児フセイン（スンナ派）は、イランとの仲良しの約束（アルジェ合意）を捨ててイランを侵略しました。
イランは必死に抵抗し、米ソ含め国際社会の大半が支援するイラクの侵略を阻止しました。
またシリアでの、住民を盾にするスンニ派テロ集団（ムスリム同胞団）による撹乱も失敗し（ハマー事件）、イスラエル（フセインの宿敵）に落とすために核兵器を作ろうとしたのも失敗しました（イラク原子炉爆撃事件）。
他にも北朝鮮など一部は、結構仲良しだったイラクとの関係を犠牲にしてまで、必死に戦うイランを支援しました。
シリアはイラクのパイプラインを止め、これでイランが勢いづき、イラクに突入します。
これに対しイラクは、イランと共闘したクルド人の町に化学兵器まで使い（ハラブジャ虐殺）、また都市やタンカーが攻撃されまくるなど色々ヤバすぎたため、国連安保理が停戦を求め、イランが嫌々応じる感じで終戦しました。
この戦争で、イラクとイランはどっちもズタボロになり、借金を抱えまくったイラクは数年後にクウェートを侵略し、返り討ちにされます。
同時に世界の目が戦争に向いていたおかげで、イスラエルがイラクの核開発（1960年代〜）を打ち砕いて広島・長崎の再現を防ぎ、シリアはスンニ派テロ集団の謀略を打ち砕き、シリアをムスリムとその他が共存する国に建て上げることに成功したのです。
彼らの最後はその行いにふさわしいものとなります。（第二コリント11:15）

Problem Man of Iraq Hussein (Sunni) regard it as Threat against him, so he broken Promise of Friendship with Iran (Alge Agreement) & invaded Iran.
Iran resisted desperately, & prevented Invasion of Iraq that most of International Society including US & USSR supporting.
And Disturbance by Sunni Terrorists that made Residents Shield (Muslim Brotherhood) was failed (Hama Incident), & Trying for made Nuke to drop on Israel (Old Enemy of Hussein) was failed (Operation Opera).
And some others like North Korea supported Iran fighting desperately even broken Well Relation between Iraq.
Syria stopped Pipeline of Iraq, so Iran gained momentum & stormed in to Iraq.
So Iraq used Chemical Weapon against Town of Kurds that fought with Iran (Halabja Massacre), & Cities & Towns & Tankers were attacked & these were so crazy, so UNSC called Ceasefire & the War was end by Iran responded reluctantly.
By this War, both Iran & Iraq became tattered, & Iraq carried on Debts so invaded Kuwait on several years later.
At the same time, thanks for World fixed eyes on War, Israel crashed Nuclear Development of Iraq (1960s-) & stopped Reproduction of Hiroshima & Nagasaki, & Syria successful to crashed Plot of Sunni Terrorists & establish itself as Nation that Muslim & others coexisting together.
Their end will be what their actions deserve. (II Corinthians 11:15)
