1975年にポルトガルから独立したアンゴラでは、社会主義グループ（MPLA）と反共グループ（FNLA、FLEC、UNITA）が内戦を始めました。
モザンビークでも、社会主義グループ（FRELIMO）と反共グループ（RENAMO）が内戦を始め、南アフリカが占有するナミビアでも、独立派（SWAPO）がMPLAと一緒に立ち上がりました。
MPLAはキューバと一緒に、まず北部の反共グループ（FLNA、FLEC）を潰し、南部の反共グループ（UNITA）とそのスポンサー（アパルトヘイト政権南アフリカ）に完勝しました（クイト・クアナヴァレの戦い）。
1990年にSWAPOの勝利（ニューヨーク協定）によりナミビアが独立し、1992年にはモザンビークの内戦が終わりますが（気まずさは2019年まで続きました）、アンゴラでは内戦が続きます。
UNITAは南アフリカ以外のスポンサー全員から見捨てられ、2002年に壊滅し、内戦は終結しました。
この戦争は、アメリカとソ連の思惑が入り混じり、15%〜30%の国民が犠牲になる被害を出しましたが、キューバが南部アフリカの自由のために尊い犠牲を払い、最後は平和を土台とし、アパルトヘイト政権の終焉と各グループの和解をもたらしたのです。

In Angola that independent from Portugal on 1975, Civil War was outbroken by Socialist Group (MPLA) & Anti Communist Group (FNLA, UNITA).
In Mozambique, Socialist Group (FRELIMO) & Anti Communist Group (RENAMO) began Civil War, & in Namibia that SA occupying, Independent Group (SWAPO) uprosen with MPLA.
MPLA beat Northern Anti Communist Group (FLNA, FLEC) first, & completely won against Southern Anti Communist Group (UNITA) & its Sponsor (Apartheid Administration SA) with Cuba (Battle of Cuito Cuanavale).
Namibia was Independent on 1990 by Victory of SWAPO (New York Accords), & Civil War in Namibia was end on Mozambique (Unpleasantness was continued till 2019), but Civil War was completed in Angola.
UNITA was ignored by every Sponsors & be destroyed on 2002, so Civil War was end.
Intentions of US & USSR were mixed & 15~30% of people of these nations were sacrifised in this War, but by Cuba paid precious sacrifices for Liberty of Southern Africa, & finally it brought the end of Apartheid Administration & reconciliation of every groups with the base of Peace.
