1991年にバーレ独裁政権が滅んだ後、ソマリアは滅茶苦茶になりました。
北西部のソマリランドが実質独立を選び、残る地域（ソマリア本土）が内戦に陥りました。
まずムハンマド政権とアイディード将軍（SNA）が対立し、国連が介入しますが失敗し、ソマリアはさらに滅茶苦茶になりました。
2000年にジブチの支援でできたハッサン政権はまともに機能しなかったのですが、その後のユスフ政権は国内をある程度まとめることができました。
しかしイスラーム過激派（イスラーム法廷会議/ICU）が誕生し、ソマリア政府に喧嘩を売ったため、これを見たエチオピア（キリスト教メイン、ソマリアの隣国）とアメリカが紛争に介入し、ICUを潰しました。
ICU残党のうち、急進派はアル・シャバブを形成しましたが、エチオピアとアメリカの支援によって勝利したソマリア政府は、ICU残党穏健派を吸収し（ジブチ合意）、2012年に正式な政府（21年ぶり）を発足させました。
現在ソマリア本土は、ソマリランドとの対立や国内の混乱といった問題を抱えていますが、確実に平和の復活へと向かっています。
国際社会はこれを支援し、同時にソマリランドの住民の意思を正式に実現し、ソマリア本土とソマリランドの平和と意思を達成しなければいけません。
これによって、収束しつつある内戦は必ず終結すると確信しています。

After destruction of Barre Dictatorship on 1991, Somalia became mess up.
Somaliland in Northwestern chose independent in fact, & other region (Mainland Somalia) was involved by Civil War.
First, Muhammad Administration & General Aidid (SNA) was conflicted, & UN intervened it but it was failed, & Somalia became mess up more.
Hassan Administration that be established on 2000 by Support of Djibouti didn't worked decently, but Yusuf Administration after that could unified Nation to some extent.
But Islam Extremists (ICU) was appeared & provoked Somali Government, so Ethiopia (Christianity is main, next to Somalia) & US intervened Conflict & destroyed ICU.
Radicals in Remnants of ICU established Al-Shabaab, but Somali Government that won by Support of Ethiopia & US absorbed Moderates in Remnants of ICU (Djibouti Agreement), & established Formal Government (First in 21 years).
Now Mainland Somalia having Problems like Conflict between Somaliland & Internal Quarrels, but advancing to secure revival of Peace.
International Society must support it & at the same time, must make Will of Somaliland come true formally & achieve Peace & Will of Mainland Somalia & Somaliland.
Convince Converging Civil War will be end surely through it.
