ヨーロッパ帝国はヴァチカンの支援を受けて、モブツの罪（大航海時代以来の欧州の帝国主義・侵略・虐殺の罪）の集大成みたいな感じで建国されたので、首都をローマに置いてました。
偽キリストは世界をもっとうまく支配するため、バビロン（大昔に世界をまとめ、神様に反逆したニムロドの拠点でした）を再建し、そこに遷都したのですが、その直後、ローマに地獄の刑罰が降ります。
ローマはクリスチャンを殺しまくり、モブツの罪の元凶となったヴァチカンの本拠地で、そしてこの時にはフランス革命以降欧米を拠点とし、冷戦を操って血にまみれた金で金庫を満たしたあの国際金融資本家グループの本拠地（経済の中心を意味します）にもなっていました（黙示録18:23〜24）。
そのためローマは、ある日突然謎の毒ガスによって外部と隔絶され、その日のうちに天からの燃える硫黄（地獄の火炎）に滅ぼされます。
自らの腐敗した欲望のために他国を侵略しまくり、冷戦を操って血で金庫を満たした拝金主義グループの末路です。
さて、世界経済の中心・ローマが滅んだせいで世界経済が壊滅し、偽キリストと10人のリーダーがもめ、うち3人のリーダーがブチギレて偽キリストを殺してしまいます。
しかし偽キリストは復活し、自分を殺した3人のリーダーを殺し、自分を「神」と言い出し、世界の支配する「神」の地位を確立します。
これにより、世界は歴史上最悪の時代（患難時代）に入ります。
偽キリストは世界を完全に支配しますが、人間でしかない偽キリストが自分を神と言っても、こいつ何言ってんの的なノリになります。
なので、世界の平和は秒で崩壊して反乱が続発し、偽キリストはこれを鎮圧するために核兵器を使い、そのせいで殺人だけでなく飢餓（小麦1kgが15セントになり、デフレで経済が壊滅します）、死病が蔓延し、飢えた野獣が人を大勢食い殺します。
しかも偽キリストは不満をそらすためにクリスチャンを虐殺しまくったため、キリストが本格的にブチギレ、暗黒と月の変色、隕石、超巨大地震と火山大量噴火のコンボが世界中を襲い、人々はブルって自殺者が続出します。
このようにもう色々最悪レベルでめちゃくちゃなのですが、同時に非常に素晴らしいことが起こります。
ソヴィエト戦争などで神様（キリスト）を信じたイスラエル人（イスラエルの14万4000人）と、エリヤとエノク（患難時代の前半に嘆きの壁に現れます）により、2億人を超える人がキリストの救いに立ち帰るのです。
