1978年、ウガンダの暴君アミンの排除に失敗した兵士たちがタンザニアに逃げ、ブチギレたアミンはタンザニアを侵略し、カゲラを占領しました。
しかしモシでオボテやムセヴェニなど反アミングループ（ウガンダ国民解放戦線/UNLF）が結成され、タンザニア軍（ソ連製の武器が揃っていました）と協力してウガンダ軍と戦いました。
ウガンダ軍は西側だけでなく、シャバ紛争（第43回参照）でソ連に嫌われて孤立しており、助けに来たリビア軍を盾にして逃げる始末でした。
そのままタンザニア・UNLF軍はウガンダに攻め込み、ルカヤの戦いで完勝し、そのまま首都カンパラを解放しました。
アミンは最大の盟友リビアにもヤバい人と思われ、サウジアラビアに逃げてそこで死にます。
一方で、ウガンダはタンザニアの尊い犠牲とともにアミンの暴政から解放され、オボテやムセヴェニ（今の大統領です）の下で自由を回復し、現在に至っています。

1978, Soldiers who were failed to remove Tyrant of Uganda Amin escaped into Tanzania, so Amin angered & invaded Tanzania, & occupied Kagera.
But Anti Amin Group (UNLF) was established in Moshi by Obote, Museveni, & fought with them with Tanzanian Army (Had so many USSR Weapons).
Uganda was hated by USSR about Shaba Conflict (See 43rd) not only by Westerns, so it was isolated, & they escaped by made Libyan Army who came to help them as their shield.
So Tanzania & UNLF Army attacked Uganda & completely won in Battle of Lukaya, & liberated Capital Kampara.
Amin was thought so crazy guy by his best Ally Libya also, so he escaped to Saudi Arabia & died in there.
On the other hand, Uganda was liberated by precious sacrifice of Tanzania & restored Liberty with Obote & Museveni (President on now), & it continuing until now.
