晴実の祖母（母の母）である綾の先祖は、胆沢・平泉（岩手）と松前（渡島）で平和と共に生きてきた侍であり、前九年の役（安倍貞任）や奥州合戦（藤原泰衡）、戊辰戦争などの戦（非常時）では、故郷と信念のために無条件に命を捨ててきた。
この、「命を捨てるほどの無条件」という考えが、綾がクリスチャンになる決定的なきっかけとなった。

ちなみに作者の祖父/1930～も、地域は全然違いますが、似たような形でクリスチャンとなりました。）

This mind of "Unconditionally as surrender life" became decisive step for Aya became Christian.
