会津藩と共に戦っていた諸生党（水戸藩旧幕府派）は、会津藩の敗北後、故郷の水戸で再起を図って帰還し、弘道館（水戸藩の学校）に籠りますが、天狗党（水戸藩明治政府派）に完敗し（弘道館の戦）、追撃されて壊滅します（松山の戦）。
天狗党は諸生党を壊滅させた後、松山周辺の住民へ犯罪を働きましたが、諸生党は決してそのような悪事を働かず、逆境にあっても最後までその信念を貫いたのです。
Shosei Party (Pro Former Shogunate Group of Mito Domain) cooperated with Aizu Domain went back to Mito their homeland for resistance after Defeat of Aizu Domain, & shut tehmselves in Kodokan (School of Mito Domain), but be defeated completely by Tengu Party (Pro Meiji Government Group in Mito Domain) (Battle of Kodokan), & be chased & be destroyed (Battle of Matsuyama).
After destroyed Shosei Party, Tengu Party committed crimes against Residence of Matsuyama Area, however Shosei Party never committed such evils & stick their belief even they are in difficulties.
