ギリシャ内戦
ギリシャは1941年から1944年までナチス・ドイツに占領されていましたが、パルチザンの抵抗とソ連や英米の進撃によってドイツ軍が撤退した後、右派の政府（イギリス、アメリカが支援）と、パルチザンの中心だった左派・ギリシャ人民解放軍（ソ連、ユーゴスラヴィア、アルバニア、ブルガリアが支援）が対立していました。
もともと1942年以降対立していた両者は、1946年のギリシャ人民解放軍の進撃によって本格的に衝突しました。
ギリシャ人民解放軍はギリシャ民主軍に改造され、ゲリラ戦を活用して北部を圧倒し、国内各地のシンパの助けも借りてアテネ付近まで迫ります。
しかしユーゴスラヴィアがソ連からの自立を宣言してソ連と関係を切ると、ギリシャ民主軍は勝手にソ連派とユーゴスラヴィア派で内部対立し、そのほかの共産国家に見限られ、もともとソ連の支援が弱気だったのもあり、イギリスやアメリカに支援された政府軍に潰されました。
この内戦によってもたらされた傷は、30年間尾をひくことになるのです。

Greek Civil War
Greece was occupied by Nazis Germany on 1941-1944, but after German Army's withdrawal by Resistance of Partisans and Attack of USSR and UK, US, Right Group Government (Be supported by UK, US) and Main of Partisans and Left Group Greek People's Liberation Army (ELAS. Be supported by Yugoslavia, Albania, USSR, Bulgaria).
Originally both were conflicted after 1942, but conflicted autentically by Attack of ELAS on 1946.
ELAS was transformed to Democratic Army of Greece (DAG), and overwhelmed Northern and closed to Athens by used Guerrilla Warfare well, and help of Sympathizer of whole Greece.
But Yugoslavia declared Independence from USSR and cut relations, DAG arbitrarily fell down into Internal quarrel, so other Communist Nations ignored DAG, so in adittion to USSR Support was berish originnaly, DAG were destroyed by Government Army that UK and US support.
Pains by this Civil War were left 30 Years since then.
I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one. (Ezekiel 22:30)
